Welcome to Rachael's Run

Thank you for making Rachael's Run a success! Race results are posted here.

Welcome to Rachael’s Run! Our little Rachael passed away in November 2008 after a year of fighting a type of pediatric cancer called neuroblastoma. The experience was painful for her and heartbreaking for us, but we decided to use it to help other children and families fighting cancer like Children's Hospital of Greenville Hospital System University Medical Center (GHS) helped us. With your help, Rachael’s Run at life will make many other runs easier.

The first Rachael’s Run took place on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009, at Furman University. It’s a 5k race to unite running with pediatric oncology research at GHS and other organizations that work so hard to make a better world for sick children. Your participation and all funds raised help to do just that by funding research and providing support for families fighting childhood cancer. It’s easy to register online and create a page for your fundraising efforts. You even have a space to tell everyone why you’re running for Rachael! Plans are being made now for the second annual Rachael's Run to be held fall 2010.

Thank you for taking part in Rachael’s Run!
