Funds received through Rachael's Run help to fight cancer through research at Children's Hospital of Greenville Hospital System University Medical Center (GHS) and helps support the families of children with cancer through Clement's Kindness Fund for the Children. Children's HospitalGHS Children's Hospital serves as the Upstate region's source for pediatric care, with more than 100,000 patient interactions each year. They place priority on caring for the whole child, recognizing that their needs are not limited to the medical aspects of treatment. The nurses, physicians, therapists, and other staff at Children's Hospital approach care through the eyes of a child. From the race cars and wagons used to move patients around to pediatric-sized medical equipment, innovative care is delivered in a child-friendly environment. Clement's Kindness Fund for the ChildrenClement's Kindness Fund for the Children was established to help address the medical, psychological, social, emotional, and financial needs of Upstate families impacted by pediatric cancer and other serious blood disorders.
